COORDINATED TRAINING AND ASSESSMENTS

Preparing you for employment

Under AEVES commitment to provide employers in the waste & resource management, facilities support, cleaning and the environmental service sectors with recruitment services better tailored to their needs, candidates that come to us seeking employment and lacking relevant operational experience, are required to complete sector focused pre-employment training with our parent charity ACE (Action for Community & Environment).

Candidates currently working 16 hours or less a week are likely to be eligible for full subsidy of their training costs via AEVES.

For more information about training please call 020 7250 6961.

Sector specific knowledge and skills development

Working in partnership with AEVES' parent charity ACE (Action for Community & Environment), WAMITAB (Waste Management Industry Training & Advisory Board) and a network of ACE partner WAMITAB centers, AEVES can coordinate training and assessment for WAMITAB 'Level 1 Award for Waste and Recycling' and 'Level 1 Award in Cleaning Principles' qualifications.

Ensuring that AEVES candidates without previous operational experience have a minimum level of knowledge and skills needed to give employers confidence that you can work safely and effectively in your new role.

AEVES can also support candidates by arranging additional general employability training to develop candidate skill areas such as CV preparation, interview skills and general transferable skills.
